There is a small river Jamuna flowing in 2 Katla Union. There is a beautiful bridge over the river.

The huge Katlahat is located on the west side of the river. The area of ​​the market is 90 hectares. In the middle of this market is Katla Bi-directional High School and next to it is Katla Government Primary School. Apart from this, during the monsoon season, tengra, koi, magur, puti shrimp, ayrmach, shoal, gajar, baim etc. are found in the river.
